Friend Mapper App Reviews

First love the program simple to use. I primarily use it in my bike rides. Since I ride alone and am gone for hours my wife can become nervous and annoyed bc she has to guess when I am returning. With friend mapper I just turn it on and go cycling. I have peace if mind and mind wife does too knowing she knows where I am. Plus the customer is the best.

Great, works perfect. Woul be nice if you can get push notifications to let others users to know that you want to share your location with them, without calling....

Now push notification in next update please!

You would be better off if you folded you dollar bill into a football and played with it. My friend and i tried this app and neither worked! Dont buy

I LOVE this app! We use it often when we are trying to locate family members, especially when traveling in groups. It has saved us a lot of headaches, especially when we are in an unfamiliar area. We have located friends and family members easily with this app. when trying to reunite. Also, when my husband is delayed coming home, I can check to see his location and know there are no problems, such as road closure. This app is ingenious--thank you!

Only works when other person has app active on screen. Soon as they start a different function or phone goes to sleep it stops updating. So whats the point of the hide feature? It won show your position anyway.

I agree with the others...this isnt accurate.

My buddy and I are miles away from our actual location. This is okay with those leaving a five star rating? Hmmmm

I have two friends linked. The biggest problem is they will not update. I have one friends last update was 225 hours ago and that is about normal.

My daughter and I were sitting in the very same room in NYC and the App. mapped her location in Santa Cruz.

Is a great idea, but doesnt work at all yet! Doesnt update friends position, never moves. Maybe with an update it will do what it claims. Right now its junk!

I cant see my friends in anything close to real time. I had one friend drive 62 miles to my door step and it still showed them at home, and yes we were both logged in. This happens very often. It a huge drain on the battery. I would like to have a "Refresh" button.

The only thing this app is missing is the ability to send a message, from within the app, that lets the other person know your on/tells the other person to get on. Have it be a button/option to send it to your friend(s) so they know your on and updated. Great app I love it.

When app starts it works fine but soon does not update location eventhough set up every 10S I would prefer team GPS better If update location issue better working I give 5 star

This app was already great, but the new update that was just released makes this app really shine. It is much more smooth now and the map is a lot tighter. This is a steal for the price. Yes, obviously your friends need to run the app as well, but this is a limitation of the hardware not the software. Also the push notification works well. I have had no issues of it being accurate even indoors.

This app is so wonderful! I use it everyday! Works great to track family and friends!!! I am a nurse and as soon as I leave the hospital I click on this app.... It sends the immediate push to my family to let them know where Im at!! Also I have to give a HUGE thank you to Leon. This man is phenominal if you have any issue with this app. I needed something changed on it due to getting a new iPhone. I sent an email to him and he emailed me back very quickly to troubleshoot my issue! Good customer service is hard to find anymore---- but i found it here & that even makes this app better! Soooooo- dont hesitate on getting it! Its GREAT!!!!

This program will only work, if it is open. Would be nice if it would work in the back ground. The use of any other program will shut it off. Needs lots of work before this app is worth buying.

Seems like itll work good, but I dont have any iPhone friends. At least Loopt allows you to have friends on other phones, but I dont have any compatible friends on Loopt either. Would be nice to be able to add friends from the contact list rather than having to write down phone numbers and email addresses. Also, would like a automatic login option.

This apps pretty righteous. But if I could add on one thing to it (if you actually read the reviews you get) it would be to allow people to add notes above there location dot like "johnny: Im going to the store" or "melissa: Im bored and sitting at the house" anyway thats all I got later
